Local Matters Terms & Conditions 2026

Entry is for members of The Gap Creative only. There is no entry fee.
Entries must be submitted by Friday 12 June using the following link on our website https://thegapcreative.com.au/local-matters-entry-form/
Maximum of four (4) entries. No single artwork may be larger than 1m x 1m.

Artists can submit 2D or 3D works in any medium and subject matter. The artwork must be suitable for a school context.
Entries must be the original work of the exhibitor and not infringe the copyright, moral rights or other rights of any third party.
Exhibitors agree to images of their work being reproduced in print and online for promotional purposes.
All works must be easily carried by 1 person.
Entries are accepted, displayed and returned at the owner’s risk. All care will be taken but no responsibility accepted for loss or damage.

All 2D artworks must be ready to hang with wire or string attached.
Artwork framed behind perspex will NOT be accepted.
Clearly mark the artist’s name, title of work and price on the back of the artwork (not necessary for 3D works).
The organising committee reserves the right to deem artwork unsuitable to hang if presentation guidelines are not met.

Please allow for 20% commission when setting price.
Artists will be paid for any sales within 2 weeks following end of the exhibition.

Please deliver works to The Tula Gallery at The Gap State High School. The gallery is attached to the art rooms at the back of the school near the oval. Easiest access is through the entrance to the school nearest the shopping centre.
If you are unable to collect your artworks on the given day please organise a friend to do so on your behalf. There is NO capacity to store artwork beyond the collection period.
